I’ll be leading a 90 minute workshop focused on tabla, and its application as a tool for empowerment and creativity in the slums of Kolkata and Ahmedabad, India.

Founded in 2004, Community Stepping Stones (CSS) is a nonprofit learning center, IRS 501(c)(3), offering an out-of-school, arts-integrated curriculum designed to inspire, educate and mentor at-risk teens to become successful adults. From a tranquil 5-acre campus along the Hillsborough River near Tampa, Florida, our innovative organization fans the flames of creativity by offering opportunities for young adults to develop lifelong positive habits of mind. Working hand-in-hand with other neighborhood programs that offer resources for pre-school, elementary, middle school and families – CSS focuses on the needs of adolescents as they make the transition from childhood to adult responsibilities.
