About the Artists
Hiren and Mayur trained together at a tabla school in Ahmedabad. Now based in Mumbai, they came together after a gap of 12 years to collaborate with tabla joined on visuals by Rob Newman and Aaron Bradbury. In this production you will experience an audio visual delight developing into exhilarating melodic patterns includes presentation of traditional tabla solo with electronic melodic expression.
Mayur Narvekar trained in tabla from an early age, recently received a GIMA (Global Indian Music Award) for his celebrated Bandish projekt. He is a well known dubstep producer alongside composing music for film and innovative music collaborations.

Hiren Chate trained in tabla from an early age, He is a highly respected classical tabla player alongside his composing projects for film, theatre and contemporary Indian dance including collaborations with various international bands.

Louise Clements
Kathak dancer since 1999, trained in Uk and India, member of Manushi Dance Company, alongside solo and collaborative projects, she performs in UK and internationally.
Shane Solanki AKA Last Mango in Paris, is an artist working with spoken word, music, performance and film. Mercurial in nature, his career has seen him collaborate with some of the UK’s most innovative artists and producers.

Tablapusher is Robin Sukhadia:
Fulbright Scholar, passionate technologist, music educator, and student of tabla.
A Master in Fine Arts graduate from the World Music program at the California Institute of the Arts, Robin Sukhadia has been studying tabla (classical north Indian drums) under Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri at the California Institute of the Arts and the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael, California for the past nine years. His special focus on the musical traditions and rhythms of south Asia informs his approach to musical arrangement and composition on a wide range of concert, film, and album productions. For the past seven years, Robin has traveled internationally on behalf of Project Ahimsa, an organization committed to empowering impoverished youth through music education. He performs and teaches extensively, in both classical and contemporary contexts, and has developed innovative music education programs at the Mahatma Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad, the Weill Institute at Carnegie Hall, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, the Machine Project in Los Angeles and the Sangati Center in San Francisco. In 2010, Robin was awarded a Fulbright Senior Research Award to expand his work with music education in India.
